An exceptional garden perennial, the daylily (genus Hemerocallis) has come a long way from what you see on the roadside. There are many more colors, forms, and sizes than you can imagine. Our state has such promise for newcomers who want to hybridize because we have such a long season. We encourage youth membership too! Start by attending a meeting or event with us. We have educational seminars at each of our monthly meetings from September to April. We have holiday gatherings, picnics, shows, regional meetings, and more! We have members from many areas of Central Florida that would love to help get you started in the garden. Feel free to contact any of our officers to get information. | |
